  • 8 oz. package cream cheese
  • 1 stick butter or margarine
  • 1 lb. peeled Shrimp/Crawfish
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 ribs celery, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine
  • Crushed cracker crumbs
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can mushrooms, drained
  • 1/2 tsp. Tabasco sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. red pepper
  • 1 pint Crab Meat
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • Grated sharp cheese

Directions for making Shrimp Casserole Recipe

  1. Melt cream cheese and margarine.
  2. Saute Shrimp, onion, bell pepper, and celery in 2 tablespoons margarine.
  3. Add to cream cheese mixture.
  4. Add soup, mushrooms, seasonings, Crab Meat, and rice.
  5. Mix well.
  6. Place in 2 quart casserole.
  7. Top with cheese and cracker crumbs.
  8. Bake at 350 F for 20 to 30 minutes until bubbly.
  9. Freezes well.
