- 1 (16 oz) package fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
- 1 large peach, pitted and cut into bite-size pieces
- 2 plums, pitted and cut into bite-size pieces
- 2 kiwi fruit, peeled cubed or bite sized
- 1 cup dark sweet cherries, pitted and halved
- 1 cup honeydew melon balled or cubes
- 1 cup cantaloupe balls or cubes
- 1 cup fresh pineapple cubed
- 1 cup red grapes
- 2 (16 oz) non-fat vanilla yogurt containers
- 6 oz candied walnuts
Instructions for Picnic Fruit Salad Recipe
- In a large salad bowl (that has a lid preferably), combine together gently the strawberries, peach, plums, kiwi fruit, cherries, honeydew melon, cantaloupe, pineapple, and grapes until the fruit is well mixed together.
- Put lid on top.
- Place the yogurt, bag of walnuts and fruit salad in a cooler with ice and take to picnic.
- Serve in bowls with yogurt and candied walnuts on top.
