Easy Healthy Snacks for Kids

Are you looking for some easy healthy snacks? These days with so much going on everyone is either busy or tired. Especially at the end of the day. How about a snack that is not only healthy but easy to make.

How about some air popped corn. You can add on some spray butter to flavor it with. Add in some low calorie powdered cheese. You can even add in some Cajun seasoning or for a different taste you can even throw in some chili powder.

If you like your popcorn a little on the sweeter side as some people tend to do, you can add in some lightly sprinkled powdered sugar with cinnamon. You can also throw in some peanuts, cashews or pecans to the mix for a little more filling snack.

If your wanting a simple dessert that everyone will be sure to love. Take a large serving bowl add in any kind of dried fruit that you desire. It may be that you would like more than one even several tastes. Like some dried strawberries, cranberries, dried bananas, or even dried apples. Add in some low calorie pretzels, or toasted oats. Toasted coconut or even wheat Chex .

  • 1 (14.5 ounce) package sweetened honey corn and oat cereal
  • 1 (10 ounce) package bear-shaped graham cookies
  • 1 (10.5 ounce) package miniature marshmallows
  • 1 (12 ounce) package semisweet chocolate chips

Directions

  1. All you have to do is combine all the ingredients in a large ziplock bag and shake to mix.
  2. Divide and store in individual ziplock baggies for a fast and easy kids treat that is healthy.
